Helpful and caringstaff.

On behalf of my Mom and family, thanks so much to Home Instead! My Mom had a fall at her home in Vernon before Christmas and needed extensive daily care on short notice. My brother and I live in Vancouver, and we needed more help than our sister in the Okanagan could manage on her own. I reached out to Kim Lepp at Home Instead Vancouver to ask who I could contact for this kind of help in Vernon. Kim was fantastic. She put me in touch with Home Instead Kelowna, who connected me with three absolutely wonderful care aides in Vernon. They read to our Mom, help her with meals, and are very flexible to fill in around when the family can be there. Home Instead are heroes to our family.

My mother was sent to a long term care facility in Invermere this past winter while waiting for a bed in Cranbrook. Leanne and her staff provided excellent support for her and were available at short notice if she needed anything extra. They provided social stimulation and also arranged and accompanied her to weekly hair appointments.Over Christmas, the weather and roads were bad and Leanne and her staff ensured mom had a stocking to open with multiple little gifts to tide her over until we could visit. She thoroughly enjoyed their visits and I felt supported with regular updates from Leanne as well.I highly recommend Heartfelt Companion ServicesPat Norton

De l'appel pour la réservation, à l'entretien avec l'infirmière responsable des soins et du personnel soignant, madame Desrosiers, aux préposées aux services alimentaires, à tout le personnel; accueil, gentillesse, respect, sourire, tout est harmonieux! We started using Right at Home services in Sept 2020. My mother has dementia and was not ready to go into a long term care home. I found RIH online after having been less than satisified with other companies we tried previously. 100% recommend Right at Home. With RIH I have been so impressed over the entire duration! From the initial consultation to the final day. Owner Bobbie was available to us at all times, which I found very comforting. Veronica in the office was super helpful and patient with our high maintenance scheduling (we had very tricky scheduling and last minute changes). She also came out to train in person if we had a new person coming in. We often had Crystal with our Mum, she was AMAZING with her. She not only helped my Mum with showering etc, but with EVERYTHING from changing linens, light housekeeping, cooking healthy meals, companionship and the list goes on. We also really like Mona - the office was great for trying to keep only 1 or 2 workers on the schedule with my Mum because of her dementia. Everyone has been Covid safe, wearing masks, washing hands, sanitizing.My Mum's condition has deteriorated quickly so we are now moving her into a long term care home. We will miss everyone and want to thank them all for being so special, it's really helped make our transition easier. Thank you Right at Home crew xo

Very impressed by Jeremiah at Home Instead. He took the time to understand our family's needs and found very kind help for my father when he felt alone after the passing of my mother. I very much appreciate Jeremiah's sensitivity to the need for emotional support while enabling my father to live at home independently despite medical challenges.
